We are a fully remote consultancy. Our work is project-driven, with clear priorities and realistic deadlines. Communication is mainly through email and shared documents. We value people who:

  • Take ownership of their tasks

  • Ask questions when something is unclear

  • Document what they do so it can be repeated

  • Care about details and consistency

You do not necessarily need a background in accounting or tax, but you must be comfortable working around technical topics and following instructions carefully.

Remote Website Developer | Antravia Careers

We are looking for a reliable Website Developer to join our small, growing international business on a remote basis.
This is not a highly complex development role. A large part of the work will involve building and maintaining WordPress websites, creating pages from existing designs, uploading content, formatting articles, making small design changes and keeping our sites looking clean and professional.
We are happy to provide training on our websites, systems and the way we work. You do not need to know everything from day one, but you should already be comfortable working with WordPress and have a good eye for detail.
What you will be doing

  • Building and updating WordPress pages

  • Creating new pages based on existing layouts and designs

  • Uploading and formatting blog articles

  • Making website content and image changes

  • Checking pages on desktop and mobile

  • Fixing basic layout and formatting problems

  • Helping improve website speed, usability and consistency

  • Carrying out general website maintenance

  • Supporting the launch of new websites and pages as the business grows

What we are looking for

  • Good experience with WordPress

  • Comfortable working with Gutenberg and/or similar WordPress tools

  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge

  • Good attention to detail

  • Able to follow instructions and replicate an existing design accurately

  • Reliable and organised

  • Good written English

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Willing to ask questions when something is unclear

  • Interested in learning and developing new skills

Experience with SEO, website speed optimisation, hosting, domains, Cloudflare, Google Search Console or basic graphic design would be useful, but it is not essential.

About the role

This is a fully remote position.
We are flexible about working hours and do not expect you to work UK or US office hours unless something specific requires it. What matters is that you communicate well, meet agreed deadlines and complete work properly.
We are a small team, so you will work directly with the people running the business. We are friendly, practical and happy to teach. If you are reliable and good at what you do, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
